The
Best Neck Ties
-
The best neck ties are not as easy to distinguish as you may think. There are Ascots, cravats, Solid
Color Neck Ties While much of the neck ties produced come from China, it doesn't mean they are
not good. As a matter of fact, many of the big brand name companies contract work from China and other places to
cut costs. They just work on building a strong brand name so that you trust anything they endorse as top shelf.
That way they can choose whomever and there name makes it of perceived good quality.
The best neck tie is the one that you feel most confident when wearing it. Neck ties come in every color known to
man. The best one is objective to what you're trying to achieve. Clowns want to make people laugh so they tend to
wear overly large bright polka dotted ones. Some people are all thumbs or pressed for time, so a clip on is best
for them. Some people don't want to exploit nature so they avoid fabrics made by living animals like silk. Some
want to save the planet so they avoid fabrics made from man made material like polyester and plastic (oil
based).
As you can see, the best neck tie is determined by the desired affect you want to have on your
surroundings. Still, do you want your tie to stand out or make a statement on its own. If you're idea of best is
determined by brand name, it's still no easier. Name brand items aren't guaranteed to be flawless in the materials
they use. If you look on the tag, you will most likely see the same made in location as the ties you find in the
big box stores. usually what happens is at the end of the run, the company's name is sewn or printed on the item
and shipped to their warehouse and the consumer is none the wiser that they all came from the same overseas
factory, maybe even made by the same worker.
So over all the best neck ties should be color fast, meaning they hold their color brightness for a long period. It
should be stain and water resistant since we are prone to spilling things on ourselves. It shouldn't have loose
stitching since a lot of pulling and tugging goes on with tying ties, and it should be a fairly thick material or
have a solid core that the fabric is sewn over. That way over time, it wont crinkle and bunch up around your neck
like bacon.
